Web Reins

These stylish web reins feature a smart traditional design which has been made using the same design and manufacturing technique developed by Jeffries in the late sixties. These webbing reins are made from web, which gives you a pair of lightweight webbed reins which do not get slippery when wet, making them perfect for eager eventers, crazy cross country riders or enthusiastic endurance riders. As they are made of webbing these webbing reins are also simple to clean and, unlike leather reins, will not run the risk of cracking if they get wet. Only the very best quality bridle butts are used to create these webbed reins, giving you web reins of which to be proud. Each piece of bridle work can be identified by its natural flesh coloured back, distinctive white stitching and original Havana coloured leather. The reason this concept was developed was to ensure only the best leather is used for the product, as the natural flesh side would show any imperfection in the leather. This is a tradition that few manufacturers other than Jeffries continue today, as it requires such a high level of skill in the preparation and selection of the leather.
